Hi, yes, it’s me with another photoshoot…and what also happens to be my very first shoot in LA. I’ve been a fan of Andrea Hausmann’s photography for years now, so I was pretty ecstatic when she sent a message to tell me she was a fresh transplant to Southern California too. We decided to set up a shoot together shortly after meeting, and we were both in complete agreement […]
I just received some more photos from my summer NYC shoot with Lars Kommienezuspadt over over the weekend, and I had to share them here straight away. I can’t help but fall in love with Lars’ photography, even when I’m not the subject. He makes all his models – including the nonmodels like me – look exquisite, and the makeup artist he chose for this shoot, Brown Paper Doll Beauty, […]
I just can’t even come up with the words to describe my feelings for this gown. If ever there was a dressing gown that embodied Hollywood glamour – that was pure, undiluted, old school, cigarette holder, dripping jewels allure – this is it. The Emerald & Palm Dressing Gown has no shame about being what it is, and what it is over the top, lascivious, inspired luxury. There’s no attempt […]
I had the chance to preview Fantasy’s upcoming collections at this year’s International Lingerie Show, and immediately fell in love with the ensemble featured. There’s this idea that budget-friendly lingerie brands can only do the super-skimpy, super-sexy things, and while that’s fine, variety is good too. I love this teddy and skirt pairing because it’s soft and romantic and comes in a shade you rarely see in lingerie…a kind of dusty, heathery purple. If teddies aren’t your thing, there’s also a longline bra and panty option (though I’m still a strong advocate for buying that tulle skirt).
About a month or so ago, I found myself working in Manhattan for few weeks. While I love my new digs in California, nothing quite compares to the allure and hustle of New York. I feel invigorated when I’m in Manhattan; the city fills me with inspiration and a sense that anything’s possible. How could one not be inspired with The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The American Ballet Theatre […]
