My Very First Post! Falke's Lunelle Peacock Thigh High Stockings

Have you ever heard of Falke? They make the stockings of the most gorgeous pairs I have ever seen. Super sheer legs (8 denier nylon/lycra blend, so you'd better have baby soft hands or a pair of hosiery gloves) and fabulously glamorous welts.

Seriously...peacock feathers. How perfect is that? Pure luxury.

Falke has a great reputation for quality and art in their hosiery, so these aren't the kind of stockings you'll throw away after only one wear. Unfortunately, this kind of indulgence doesn't come cheap. You're looking at paying about $54.00 for a pair of these (unless, of course, you happen to find them on sale).

However, if you like stockings, then I believe the Falke Lunelles are worth it. Not only is the turquoise and gold welt like jewelry for your legs, he silicone bands are also super comfortable and don't slip down or dig in. Furthermore, the nylon is incredibly soft and feels like silk going on.

With proper care (hosiery gloves, hosiery wash, plus smooth hands and legs while putting them on), these could conceivably last for years.

Simply put, the Falke Lunelle Stockings make your legs look and feel like a million dollars.

In case you can't tell, I have a mad crush on these stockings. If you love them too, you can purchase at Bare Necessities, Amazon, Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's.

What are your thoughts on Falke? Would you wear a pair of peacock welt thigh highs?

I just wanted to add the link to these for anyone trying to find them, since the pic isn’t linked (and yes, these are still around!) and I just stumbled across them in my online shopping:

Thanks for adding! This post is from so long ago (back when I wasn’t adding links) that I completely forgot to do that. :-)

Hah! I have several pairs of these. The band is good for those of average or larger size but if you are new to stockings and holdups and are of a smaller frame, my advice is to get a size down….

Luckily i ordered these after discovering that often i had to go down a recommended size. I am 5'10" or 5'9.5" with almost no boobs (sadly) nor hips (i'm okay with that) and a flat butt (sad again..but hey I'm Asian..i have only recently acquired a slightly rounder and perkier butt due to a lot of biking and hip hop dance classes) I also have very skinny but toned legs. And yes….i take stockings and hold ups in size S if it's stretch.

I have finally gone through all your existing posts….yes i am a stocking fanatic. I have many pairs of vintage and modern stockings and hold ups. Perhaps i should start my own!
