Made by Niki A/W 2013

Made by Niki's A/W 2013 collection is something of a dream. It brings back several of the edgy, groundbreaking styles the brand is known for (like those delightful fringe pieces and that divine gathered tulle) and balances it out with eminently wearable lace. This is a brand that's confident and sure of itself and that's a delight to see.

Hi Everyone, this is Niki – the designer and owner of Made by Niki… Zou Bisou, Cora & Lingerie Lesbian – I am very glad to hear you love the Peplum collection (SS13) and the Black Lace Set, and our all colourful String collections!

The AW13 collection is 31 outfits (53 garments), not all represented here, you can eventually see the full complement at

    I’d have to agree.
I like the new colourways but other than the peplum stuff I’ve never been too enthused by anything other than the string collection.
    Shame :(

Sometimes I really like MbN’s innovative, unique pieces, sometimes they strike me as a bit pedestrian. I’m afraid this collection just seems like revisiting past hits, and not in a very interesting way. These new colourways just don’t speak to me. I’ll hope for a spark of something new in the next collection!

    • I’m apt to agree– none of these styles strike me with as much longing as the previous collections, especially the original Strings and the most recent candy colored spring pieces. I do like the silver bodysuit, but I don’t *need* it.

    • Cora says:

I think that’s a fair assessment. I like it, but it is a bit safe. Here’s hoping the S/S 2014 collection is more innovative!
