Lingerie of the Week: Luxe ZaZa Emanuele Pink Satin Cage Demi Bra

Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links.

For the past six months or so, I have been all about the cage bra silhouette. I love how this style feels just a little risque, and I'm crazy about how great this style is under tops for layered and lingerie-as-outerwear looks. Unfortunately, most of the cage bras I've seen stop at around a D cup or so, however, Luxe Zaza's cage bra (and seriously, isn't that a great name for a lingerie brand?) goes all the way up to 40DDD. Even better, this bra's size range is available all the way down to a 32A, so women at both ends of the size spectrum have a great option. Now if only I could find a cage bra for AA cups and G+ cups...

The Luxe Zaza retails for $96 from Dollhouse Bettie, and comes in one color (shown above), blush. The matching panty (loving those strappy details!) sells for $60.

  1. I’m confused. My eyeballs tell me that model in the photo looks to be at least a 34F/FF. Methinks a bit of back cheating and she’s in the 36/38DDD. If I were to order this for myself, I’d presume to order the 40DDD, because I am a 36G. That’s going to lead to some problems. And THIS is why I am so wary of ordering bras online, despite the fact that I’ve been a fitter for almost a decade.
A bit of tough love, sometimes styles aren’t produced in certain size ranges because…they just. don’t. work. I have had a lot of ladies in deeper sizes with softer breast tissue ask for Marlies Dekkers. Unfortunately, the strappy bits cut into their tissue and create “puddling” or lumps and bumps. This goes for any cage style bra. Be aware that firmer breast tissue does this style better justice.
You’ve piqued my curiosity. I might order this set (because it is lovely), but I have a feeling that it’s going to be a bit wonky on my 41 year old 36G body, and perhaps only for the boudoir….

Marlies Dekkers does amazingly unique cage-esque, lingerie-as-outerwear pieces. Sadly, I don’t think her range goes to either extreme of sizing (I think it’s from A to F), but the fit is incredible, and anyone on the more average side of the spectrum should absolutely check her stuff out. I’m obsessed with it, lol. The Lisbeth range is my favourite — I have both the black and the red, and the Dame de Paris is also fantastic, and comes in a huge range of colours.

I love cage bras! I usually keep to the “gothy” side, but I think the color would look great on my olive skin. Too bad it only goes up to a DDD :-( When you find a J cup, let me know!

This brand is from brazil! I love their style! Amazing!!!!

  5. Katrina says:

Very pretty! Yes, definitely post if you find a cage bra that runs smaller than a 32A. I love the look of them, but I haven’t been able to find them in my size.

Love the style but a different colour would be nice! Navy blue or emerald green, perhaps. Black or dark grey would work, too.
