Since it’s debut in 2013, the partnership between Gabi Gregg and Swimsuits For All has produced some of the most coveted plus size swimwear pieces. Recently, TLA covered the editorial campaign starring Gregg herself. New designs, re-releases of previous designs in new colorways, and a few accessory items comprise the partnership’s 5th collection. I’m excited to review a couple of my favorite suits from this round of designs. I purchased the Reflection Underwire (a new design) and the Champagne Swimsuit (a design from last season available in a new color) and am quite pleased with both.
Gabi Gregg has done it again. The new GabiFresh x Swimsuits for All collection is here, and, like the rest of the collective internet, I’m in love. This year’s theme is “New Year, Same You,” and I adore that tagline, especially during a season when people are actively being encouraged to dramatically change (or even loathe) their bodies. The idea that you’re perfectly and worth loving exactly as you are right now is one I can get behind, and I appreciate how Swimsuits for All is going against the metaphorical tide with a message I find refreshing.

And here are 25 of them, just in time for your best summer ever.

While I confess I don’t know nearly as much about swim as I do about intimate apparel, the more I research and learn and discover new designers, the more intrigued I am. Like lingerie, the world of swim is deceptively complex. Not only does swimwear have to be fashionable, comfortable, and […]
Welcome to spring! As part of an ongoing quest to find great lingerie for trans and genderqueer people, I’m tackling swimwear. This week is Part Two: Swimsuits for Trans Men and Other Transmasculine people. Read part one, swimsuits for trans women and transfeminine people here. Swimwear is like lingerie except that, for reasons obvious to no one, we are all supposed to be cool with being this naked at the […]
