Lingerie of the Week: Dottie's Delights Sheer Short Robe
"What a delightful confection!"
That's the very first thing I thought when I saw this lovely, pink dressing gown from Dottie's Delights at the Designer Lingerie Showcase last spring. It was so soft, so sheer, and so very, very vintage.
In the intervening months, I haven't been able to stop thinking about this robe, and so I was impossibly happy when one of my favorite boutiques, Faire Frou Frou, decided to stock it. The photo above is from their Tumblr, and is of an actual robe within their store.
Though I've known about Dottie's Delights for years, I have yet to purchase anything from her. I have a strong feeling that's all about to change this year though.
This sheer, short robe is handmade in the USA and available for $134 at Faire Frou Frou here.
Thought caught my eye in the Dotties Delights collection post. I almost want to feel embarrassed that something so frilly and silly is exactly my style.
How exciting! Thank you for the amazing Faire Frou Frou shout-out! This robe needs to be in your closet, my closet, and pretty much the closet of anyone who reads this blog! Apparently the two of us have been coveting this one for a while…and then there’s the matching Chantilly lace bra…it’s incredible!

So fluffy!
I adore this robe! The color and style are so perfect and the price point seems so affordable for what it is. Treacle, I’m afraid you and I might end up being twins!
