Today’s Ask the Addict feature is inspired by a question from longtime reader Orilonise, who asked via Facebook, “I love lingerie, but usually keep it to my more professional or formal attire. How do you suggest women wear lingerie with casual clothes like jeans?”

What a great question! Though I often write about the sexy stuff here on the blog, the honest truth is I spend a lot of my time in casual lingerie. And when I’m buying lingerie for everyday, I want these 3 things:

  • comfort
  • easy to care for
  • seamless

Q: “Hi, Treacle.  My partner is extremely petite (UK size 6-8 max [That's 2-4 in U.S. sizing ~ Treacle]) and she often struggles to find online retailers that cater for her size. Do you know of any good online retro lingerie stores that have much lingerie in this size range?  My partners bust is a size 32a, her waist is about 25 inches, and her hips about 34-35 inches.”

Wedding Week: Should I Wear a Corset Under My Wedding Dress?

Our celebration of all bridal lingerie continues in this week’s “Ask the Addict” feature with a question from reader C. who writes–

I am getting married in July and my wedding dress doesn’t have a corset built into it.  What kind of corset can I wear that’s not too heavy but will still cinch my waist?

This is a great question, C., and one I get asked surprisingly often.  I did a bit of research and consulted with a few lingerie retailer friends of mine to come up with an answer.  I hope it helps!

“Hi,

My boobs have been going on a growth spurt for about a year now, I’m now at least a 34E, and they’re still growing.

Where can I buy sexy, preferably cheap, bras for someone with a small rib measurement but large cup size?

I can only seem to find plus size bras in my cup size, but when I do find bras in my exact size, they’re often unattractive. I don’t mind plain, but beige or white with no detail whatsoever is unappealing to me.
