Cosabella Partners with Urban Outfitters for Capsule Collection

Cosabella is known for their simple silhouettes that are designed with comfort in mind (because feeling pretty and sexy is almost impossible in uncomfortable knickers!). Pieces are crafted of smooth and sumptuous stretch laces, meshes, and microfibers that mold to the body without any digging or pulling. Earlier this year Cora did a review of a Cosabella set and can attest to the softness of the fabrics (which is why their boyshorts are in her regular rotation).

Their recent collaboration with hip, multi-national clothing store Urban Outfitters has resulted in a streamlined capsule collection that will bring Cosabella to a younger demographic. I'm really excited about this news as not only will it increase Cosabella's visibility to a wider audience, but the brand's easy elegance will be more accessible and affordable than ever. While Urban Outfitters is definitely geared towards younger shoppers, this capsule collection is so well designed I can see it snapped up by moms taking their daughters to the store, too, introducing even more women to the brand.

The collection features Cosabella's signature bralettes and comfy bottoms crafted of soft Italian microfibers with sheer swiss dot panels, and Italian laces trimmed with flirty picot edged elastics. There is a subtle use of strapping, keeping the collection very much on trend and effortlessly sexy. There are underwire bras in both longline and bustier styles, too, which work well as layering pieces. I especially love the midnight blue color of the bustier, which is such a rich and welcome departure from basic black.

Strong pieces from the collection include a versatile lace bodysuit with underwire cups and a narrow center band that defines the waist. I'm hoping this comes in that gorgeous wineberry colorway! There is also a slip that features strapping along the bust and an intriguing, graphic cut out the midriff. The babydoll is a compelling mix of sweet and sexy, with fine straps on either side of the triangle cups and sheer swiss dot panels that give a peek to cute high waist bottoms underneath.

While most of the collection is in basic blacks (with a few navys and burgundies mixed in), there are a few pieces in ultra-girly pink for a refreshing wash of pastel perfection that will be perky fun to wear under woolens during the drab winter months.

Pieces will be available soon in store and online at Urban Outfitters. Prices range from $24 for bottoms, $49-69 for bras, $99 for the bodysuit and slip, and $129 for the babydoll.
