Spring and Summer Lingerie 2022: 40 New Pieces You'll Love

Hey, Lingerie Addicts! We're on the cusp of a new season, which means it's time for a new shopping guide. I honestly love doing these shopping guides. They're not only an chance to share some of my favorite online lingerie encounters with you, they're also an opportunity and a challenge to find new labels I've not shared before.

Part of what keeps these guides exciting - for me, and hopefully you as well - is that there's always something new to discover. There's always a brand you've not heard of or seen before. So while you'll recognize a few familiar faces from some returning brands, you'll also notice there are a lot of new ones too.

Because it's a spring and summer guide, you'll see all the usual suspects: florals, embroideries, sheer tulles, light silks, and cool cottons. There's a heavy focus on soft, unstructured pieces as well as items that can be worn comfortably at home and outside. This time of year, as winter turns into spring and then summer, I frequently wear my robes as light jackets in the evenings...because lingerie as outerwear doesn't just have to mean sexy.

There's also a heavier focus than usual on British brands. The luxe, romantic vibe many British indies fit my current mood, aesthetically speaking. I'm not yet done lounging.

Even if you're not looking to purchase something new today, it's always worth having new names on your lingerie radar. Especially when those names are independent brands doing more creative work, larger size ranges, and using more ethical business practices. Because supporting small businesses is something we should also do year round.
