I know, I know…I thought my Best of 2016 posts would be the end too, but it turns out I had more to say. Or show. Or whatever.

I’m in Georgia right now, getting ready to spend New Year’s Eve with loved ones, and I couldn’t stop thinking of how many stellar, sparkly, festive pieces I’ve seen in the last week or so that would be perfect for a New Year’s Eve soirée. Because honestly, if there’s ever a time to go completely over the top with crystallized bodysuits, satin corsets, and LOTS of gold, it’s when you’re saying goodbye to the old year and welcoming in the new.

It might sound sappy and typical, but I love how the new year is full of dreams and hopes and ambitions and ideas. Everything seems possible, like it’s just within your reach. It’s the best feeling, that sense of having a fresh start. And while I’m foregoing resolutions this year (too much pressure!), I’ve spent the last week or two meditating on what I’d like to accomplish in 2017. As they say, the sky’s the limit.

This really is my last post for the year now, so I want to wish you and yours a happy (and safe!) New Year’s Holiday. Thank you for being here. Thank you for bearing with me even when it feels like I’ve lost my way. I can’t wait to see you again in 2017.
