Photo Friday: Vara Pappas

Vara Pappas‘ portfolio may look a little familiar to regular readers of The Lingerie Addict; she was just featured a few weeks ago in Electra Designs’ Photo Friday.

As a former model, Vara has a refined understanding of the photographic process.  Her shots are never overstyled, never overworked; they are simply…perfect.

Want more Vara?  Find her on Twitter, Facebook, and Model Mayhem.  But before you go, why not tell me which photo is your favorite?  I’m rather partial to the beautiful lady in the merrywidow and stockings myself.

Photo Friday: Steve Diet Goedde

Considered the “Ansel Adams” of fetish photography, Steve Diet Goedde has more than earned his world-famous reputation.  Like Viva Van Story, Goedde was one of the few photographers I knew about before I even started this blog, and it’s almost criminal that I’m just now featuring him.

I’d be delighted to know your favorite photo from the very, very limited selection out of his portfolio below.

Photo Friday–Insuh Yoon

Every once in a great, great awhile, I run across something so wonderful that I’m tempted to break my “no nudity” rule.  Insuh Yoon’s photography is one of those times.

Most of her portfolio is not safe for work, but I hope the few images I can show here entice you to check out her Model Mayhem profile.  If you do click over, make sure to look for my favorite photo.  Hint: it involves a red couch…and a really awesome pair of stockings.

Chantal Thomass & Bruno Dayan

After lusting over last year’s Chantal Thomass collection, I couldn’t quit without viewing photos of this year’s array, and I’m oh-so-happy I did.

In my opinion, Bruno Dayan’s photography perfectly captures the playful yet cultured spirit of the Parisian couturier’s lingerie. And it turns out when I dug a little deeper, that I’d seen Dayan’s work before…

Stream of Consciousness–Chantal Thomass

Much like the Lay’s potato chip commericals of the early 1990′s, it’s impossible to view just one Chantal Thomass lingerie collection.

Of the many, many undergarment ad campaigns I’ve seen, this 2008 one, which uses flowers to both illustrate and offset the delicateness of the lingerie, is one of my favorites.
