Lingerie of the Week: Mademoiselle Jean Heart Back Knickers
When it comes to my knickers, comfort is queen. I don’t want a whole lot of ruffles and frills and straps and cutouts on panties because all I see when I look at that kind of decoration is a bunch of fabric binding, constricting, and otherwise discomfiting my body. But despite my anti-fancy knickers stance, I think I’m willing to make an exception for Mademoiselle Jean.
The founder of Mademoiselle Jean started her line in 2005, after a brief stint working for Chanel. At first, she sold only vintage-inspired fashion (take a look at her pencil skirts; they’re something serious). But recently, Jean decided to expand her range into lingerie…and I, for one, am really glad she did. These heart back knickers are already a signature piece, and they manage to look fun, flirty, and yet still completely wearable for everyday.
Mademoiselle Jean’s heart cutout knickers are €45 (app. $59.00), and are available in sizes 36 thru 42. What do you think of these?
Fred & Ginger Lingerie: A/W 2013 & Bridal Collections
Fred & Ginger is a luxury lingerie label out of the UK that was founded by Victoria Holt. The brand is known for using 100% French silks and for making all their items in the UK. This blog post features pieces from two different collections: the Neon ‘Tropical Paradise’ range and the Bridal ‘White Russian’ line. The Tropical range will be available from this summer, and the bridal range will be available beginning January 2014. I haven’t tried Fred & Ginger before, but if you have, I’d love to hear what you think in the comments.
Fred & Ginger’s bras available in sizes 30 C-E, 32B-DD, 34A-DD, 36A-D. Knickers are available in sizes S-L.

All Undone ‘The Mai’ Bodysuit
All Undone is a new luxury DD+ label designed and manufactured in the UK. I love how stark and graphic this lingerie is, no cluttered-up lines from lace, ruffles, or bows. And I really like seeing another version, more high-end version of full-bust lingerie on the market (because more choices for more sizes is always more better). All Undone’s designer collection offers bras available in sizes 28-34, DD-GG; knicker sizes are unknown. The bodysuit below is my favorite piece, but what do you think?
