The Today show reports that the retail store’s “exotic apparel” webpage, which includes see-through slips, leather thongs and studded fishnet outfits, was taken down due to complaints from groups like the American Family Association.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley modeling “Rosie for Autograph”

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has introduced a vintage lingerie collection with Marks & Spencer. “Rosie for Autograph” is a line inspired by the soft colors of English rose gardens and the theme is continued throughout the entire collection. The line consists of affordable knickers, bras and even silk kimonos ranging in all sizes.
Jason Wu, famous for his Victorian-esque designs is teaming up with La Perla this season. The designer will be adding “luxurious accent pieces” to his creations with the the lingerie line’s help for his New York fashion week shows.
Underwear style is an important for each character in the critically acclaimed HBO series, Girls. The show’s costume designer, Jenn Rogien, describes each character’s undergarment style as young with modern silhouettes and fabrics. From sleek, to eclectic, Rogien connects each character to a certain lingerie look (including menswear too!).
Another Victoria’s Secret controversy has come to the industry’s attention. Zephyers, an Italian hoisery supplier, has filed a 15 million dollar lawsuit against the lingerie retailer for breach of contract. Zephyers is accusing Victoria’s Secret of still displaying images of their hosiery even though they have stopped using their products.
