Introducing Lover’s Lane Sexy Lingerie (And Announcing Their Summer Half-Off Sale!)

Though it’s not a phrase you hear very often anymore,  a “lovers’ lane” was once a secluded spot used especially for making out. Think of those scenes in movies where there’s a couple in a car on a cliff overlooking a brightly lit city at night. The idea is a mood is set for intimacy and romance because you’re far away from everyone else.

Well, Lover’s Lane is bringing that idea back with their boutique dedicated specifically to lingerie and erotic apparel.

Unlike many retailers nowadays, Lover’s Lane offers both brick-and-mortar and online options. Their stores are located in the Midwestern states of Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan and feature, among other things, private dressing rooms and expansive opening hours, with the shops open Monday-Saturday from 10a-9p and on Sundays from Noon-6p.

I know a major barrier for a lot of people when it comes to buying lingerie is not being able to try things before you buy (especially if you’re looking for something outside the usual bra and panty). So if you’re in the area, it could be a good idea to stop by and try on some of those specialty styles you’ve been wanting to see in person or get a sense of how they would look on your body (not to mention all those other important things, like fabric quality and how it feels against the skin).

However, please note that brick and mortar locations have a “no returns/no exchanges” policy, which is another good reason to try on things before making a purchase.

However, if you don’t happen to live in one of those three states mentioned above, you can also shop online. Lover’s Lane offers sexy lingerie in misses and plus sizes, an extensive line of dancer/entertainer wear, and sexy roleplay costumes. I especially liked how they include size charts for the individual brands on their website. We all know there is no consistency in lingerie sizing, and this is a feature I honestly think a lot of other online shops should implement.

Lover’s Lane particularly wanted me to make sure I mentioned the sexy costumes are available year-round, as opposed to just around holidays, such as Halloween. They also wanted TLA readers to know about their corsets for the bedroom, some of which also feature sturdy enough construction to style with a dress or pants and wear out and about on the town.

Of course, shipping is always discreet. Your product will arrive from Lane Direct. Even the name on your credit card bill will be Lane Direct, which is an important note for people who are unable to be “out” about their lingerie purchases. And if you get something and it’s not quite what you wanted or hoped for, you can return the lingerie for any reason, so long as it’s unused and unopened ,a completely reasonable request. For full details, check Lover’s Lane’s return policy in their FAQ here.

Finally, and this is the most important part, the Lover’s Lane Summer Sale is happening this weekend, on June 24th and 25th! Everything is off 50% off, so whether you’re looking for a little summertime splurge or are ready to fully dive into the world of bedroom-friendly lingerie, this is the weekend to do it.

Feeling excited yet?  Below are a few of my favorite looks. Now go forth and shop!

As an international shopper, the only info I can find regarding shipping is that, “Foreign Country Orders, add Surcharge of $30.00”. Are you kidding me? When I try to check this via PayPal checkout (which is noted as required for non-US and Canada orders) I get bounced out with an error message.
Also, having all the individual product size charts on a single page accessed via the generic links at the bottom of the page is a total PITA. And it doesn’t appear to include all brands. It’s so much easier to shop when the specific size chart is accessible on the product page.
    I’ll keep shopping elsewhere, thanks.
