It’s summer and that means it’s conference and convention season. In the past 12 months, I’ve received a number of inquiries from brands about sponsoring The Lingerie Addict at conferences, but on account of being distracted by that whole wedding thing, I didn’t have time to attend any last year.

Well this year, I am super excited to announce that I am speaking at 4 different conferences (3 of which I can disclose right now), and I am attending a 5th convention as press. It’s an exciting time for TLA, and I’d love to partner with a few special brands to help boost your visibility while I’m at these events.

I’ve been invited to speak at four conferences year:

  • BlogHer – July 25th-27th, Chicago, IL.
  • Geek Girl Con – October 9-10th, Seattle, WA.
  • BurlyCon – November 7th-10th, Seattle, WA.
  • 1 more conference which will be included here as soon as I have permission!

I’m attending one convention in a press capacity this year:

  • Dragon*Con – August 30th-September 2nd, Atlanta, GA.

As of July 2013, The Lingerie Addict has the following reach:

  • 164,000 visitors per month. 265,000 page views per month.
  • 40,000 Facebook fans.
  • 18,000 Pinterest followers.
  • 17,000 Tumblr followers.
  • 10,000 Twitter followers.
  • 2,800 Instagram followers.

In addition, The Lingerie Addict has an Alexa ranking of 156,301 (the lower the number, the better a site’s ranking), and has been featured on the websites for Vogue Italia, Forbes, Salon, Fox News, Time, Today, The Washington Post, and many more. I am also a weekly columnist for Independent Fashion Bloggers, the leading blog for advice, tips, tutorials, and inspiration for fashion bloggers.

A couple of the opportunities for our conference and convention sponsors this year are exclusives, so there is no other way to access these unique advertising options apart from one of these 5 sponsorships. All conference and convention sponsorships are one flat rate – $1,500, and all conference and convention sponsors receive the following:

  • 1 featured banner on The Lingerie Addict homepage for the week of the convention or conference. The banner will occupy the space our “No Body Snark” banner is currently in. Value: $175.00. Conference and Convention Sponsor Exclusive.
  • Name and website link featured on business cards for The Lingerie Addict to be distributed at the conference or convention. You may also include a special slogan, exclusive discount, tracking link, or other promotional media. Value: $400.00. Conference and Convention Sponsor Exclusive.
  • 3 months of sidebar advertising on The Lingerie Addict, to begin the month of the convention or in whatever 3 month space works best for your business. Value: $825.00.
  • 1 sponsored newsletter to our 5,000 Very Important Addict subscribers. You may either choose one of our remaining months for this year, or have first access to reserving the month of your choice in 2014. Value: $350.00.
  • Total value of the sponsorship package described above: $1,750.00

There are also opportunities to send me your logo or branded items to carry at the conference (such as a tote bag with your company name, a pin, or a sticker) or to send products for me to wear or incorporate into outfits while at the conference. If you are an independent designer and are interested in sponsoring The Lingerie Addict at a conference or convention, up to 3 indie designers can share one sponsorship package. And, of course, if you’re interested in tailoring this package for your needs or sponsoring multiple conferences, please do let me know. When you’re ready to move forward with a sponsorship, email me at cora@thelingerieaddict.com. I’m looking forward to working with you soon!
