New Lingerie Addict Videos!: Introducing 1 Minute Bra Reviews

I’m a little bit under the weather today, but I really wanted to share a brand new video series I’m trying out for TLA. One of the things I’ve heard a lot over the past year is that you want more video content, so over my winter break I spent some time brainstorming new and (hopefully) better ways to make that happen and this is the first result.

1 Minute Bra Reviews are where I take a bra from my personal collection and tell you what I think of it in a minute or less. The first 3 are of bras by Rosy Lingerie, Von Follies by Dita von Teese, and Little Minx. These were shot the week before my wedding, so I’m a bit frazzled, but if you like the concept and want to see more, definitely let me know!  All videos are below.

Be good if there were a bit of info on where we could find the brands. Maybe 90 seconds reviews?
Didn’t know about Minx or Rosy, but I’m glad I do now.

The places you can find these brands vary according to where you live and what season it is. For example, I ordered one bra online from ASOS, another from a small UK retailer, and purchased another from a local Seattle shop. All three bras are no longer in production. And, honestly, for the most up to date and relevant info, I think readers would be better off using a Google search. After all, no matter where I recommend someone buy, it’s likely to be inconvenient to at least a few people.

Good reviews, nice and quick. I prefer this to seeing the typical vendor’s website where I cant tell if on normal people that’s how the garment would look.

Cora! Love this! I actually love that you are holding and showing the bras in hand rather then wearing them – clean professional quick and informative on construction and details! Keep going!

Love love love this feature! Videos are the perfect length. You address the most important points. And we get to see your actual bras, which are awesome!

One thing I did not like about the actual viewing experience: after I watched the videos, the youtube player cycled through other videos automatically without me realizing it – so I had moved onto other videos, or scrolled down to view comments, and then I would hear other videos playing.

PS your accent is perfect. don’t change!

Great reviews! A little more time spent talking about fit would be great – after the first impression of how a bra looks, fit is what I am always most interested to understand before buying a bra.

      Hi Thursday!

Thanks for the comment! In the videos, I do share if the bra fits me well or if it fits true to size. I don’t think of myself as a bra fit blogger so even in my regular (written) reviews, I tend to not go into as much detail on fit as dedicated bra bloggers do. If it fits, I say it does, and if it doesn’t, I say it doesn’t and why. That said, I can try to include a few more details re: bra fit in the videos. :-)

I LOVE love LOVE this new feature! Random observation but I really love the lighting and sound, so important to a good video – great that these bras are from your personal collection! One wee note – I don’t know if anyone else has mentioned it (I skimmed comments and didn’t see) but bra #3 has “removable” straps I’m guessing make it convertible to cross strap in back or halter but not strapless – you are right doesn’t make sense with the cups bc they would flop over but this makes it easier to wear with racerback and halters in summer.

Oooooohhhh…well, duh! Now that you say it, that makes perfect sense. Thank you! :-D

I love these videos. It’s nice to see bras from brands that I may not have heard of and whether the construction is high quality/beautiful. I also love your clothes- particularly the shirt you’re wearing in the 1 minute bra videos. I’d ask where you got it, but I know this is not an outer clothing blog. Thanks for introducing us to a cool new blog feature!
