Ask the Addict: Backless, Strapless Adhesive Bras for Full Busts?

Fashion Forms’ new lace strapless/backless. Unfortunately only available up to a D cup.

Today’s Ask the Addict question comes from a TLA Tumblr follower who writes:

“I have a backless dress that I want to wear for an event, but I can’t seem to find the right bra for it. I’ve been Googling strapless, backless, and adhesive bras, but I haven’t seen one that I think would lift and support me (I’m a 34D). I value your opinion on lingerie and would love any advice you could provide! Thank you!”

I can understand your dilemma! Most adhesive bras only come in cup sizes A thru C. If you’re a D or DD cup, I recommend trying Fashion Forms. They make backless, strapless, adhesive bras up to a DD cup but, unfortunately, not beyond. It also appears some of their adhesive bras are better than others, so I definitely suggest reading the customer reviews.

I’m a 34G and also have a dress to wear thats all lace at the back, Bra showing looks silly so i bought D+ PERK-UPS, Worst £25 i ever spent, They do not work, Soon as i moved my arms they pinged off, Not comfy and certainly not sticky enough to stay in place or hold big boobs up! The website is called Underwear solutions and i cant comment on the product to warn others not to buy them, Even the model on their site had little pert boobs!

For anyone who might stumble across this post via Google search like I did, I found these: http://senselingerie.com/D-Up-Cups-Freedom-Bra-P895C26.aspx

I wear a 32E/32F depending, and these go up to a 30L and account for sister sizing. Apparently there’s another identical one called the Faveo D+ perkups, too.

Hey! The adhesive bras at the link you provided are actually the Faveo bras. They’re just being marketed under a different name.

THANK YOU whoever pointed me in the direction of the faveo bra!!!! I can now get married in my ill-advised purchase of a backless Claire Pettibone wedding dress!

    I’m a 32GG

Hi there. The large breasted ladies should give the D-up Cups a try for a strapless backless bra. They are available at SenseLingerie.com and come in sizes D to GG. Hope this helps.

I’ve seen Faveo Freedom Bra, they cost around 33 pounds, not cheap, however they do go up to a H cup.

I’m a 32DDD and I wear the Chantalle strapless bra! It fits perfectly for having bigger breasts.

  7. Hel says:

I wish I could find something – I’m an F cup – but I see why it might just be asking too much of the bra if you have a fuller bust. I’m toying with the kind of metal/jewelled straps that you can add to strapless bras as an alternative, but I think they look a bit flimsy, has anyone tried these?

  8. Tiina says:

I’ve seen an adhesive bra (two separate silicone cups really) that goes up to UK H cup, sold online. I’m sorry I can’t recall where or what the brand was. I’m not convinced they’re as good as a strapless bra. For DD/E/F they might do the job, possibly combined with some skin tape etc. For H cup, it will probably look like you’re going braless, but with a supportive dress it could work.

My wife can’t add to this, but considering the opinions of 1> a past-gf, and 2> a rather well-endowed friend, the answer involving any of these things for larger busts is ‘Hell, No!’
Actually, I’m paraphrasing and cleaning that up a bit..

I suggest getting a bra with knockout back straps and showing those babies off! I am dreaming of the day I can buy the Bordelle Lady Citron bodice bra. Hello dominatrix!

  11. Cassandra CR says:

What about bigger busts? Do we have any options?? I’m a 34G!
    So frustrating..

    • Cora Treacle says:

I didn’t see any backless, strapless adhesive options busts above a DD. And even the DD options were really limited. This may not be a style that works well for women with more than a certain amount of breast tissue.

I had the same problem a bit ago, except I’m a 32D. I did a little bit of research and settled on a ‘Magic Silicone bra.’ It goes up to a D cup. You don’t get WHIZ BANG VAVAVOOM cleavage but it def served it’s purpose for me. You can check it out here:
