Special Announcement: Taking Time Off for the Wedding & Honeymoon!

Since announcing my engagement last March, I haven’t talked very much about my impending wedding on The Lingerie Addict. I really didn’t want my lingerie blog to turn into a wedding blog, and so I opted for sharing less instead of more. Over the past 12 months, I’ve been inundated with congratulations, well-wishes, and loving thoughts from dozens of readers and I am so touched by each and every single one of your kind notes. Now that the wedding is less than two weeks away (March 29th!!!), things are getting a little intense, so it seemed appropriate to make a few blog-related announcements regarding the next few weeks right now.

1. I will be taking off from March 25th thru April 21st. That’s the week of the wedding, the two weeks of the honeymoon, and a few post-return days to handle non-TLA business (like unpacking and thank you cards). I will begin responding to e-mails in the order they were received on April 22nd. I’ll have an away message set-up during that time, of course, but I won’t be responding to e-mails. I’m sure everyone reading this understands. ;-)
2. I am declaring a temporary hiatus on all advertising sales and social media consults for March 25th thru April 21st. If you are interested in reserving an ad space or in having a social media consultation, please contact me about that this week as I will not be responding to inquiries of this nature (along with any other e-mails) beginning next Monday.
3. Holly (one of our columnists and also the owner of The Full Figured Chest) will be taking over all admin duties for The Lingerie Addict from March 25th thru April 21st. If you send me an e-mail and it’s urgent or time-sensitive, she’ll be the person responding. Holly will also be managing our Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Pinterest accounts and will be approving/editing blog comments and blog posts. One of the hardest things about being self-employed is taking time off, so I am incredibly grateful to Holly for handling my professional responsibilities so I can relax and truly enjoy this wonderful period in my life.

I have another announcement to make regarding guest posts tomorrow, so keep an eye out for that (especially if you’ve been wanting to write for TLA!). In the meantime, if you have any questions at all, definitely feel free to ask in the comments.
