Simone Perele ‘Coquette’

Why is the Simone Perele ‘Coquette’ set this week’s Lingerie of the Week? Because I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it for weeks.

The sheer black mesh (probably my most favorite lingerie material)… the flirty embroidered bows… the elegant double bra straps. When people talk about the exquisiteness of French lingerie, this is what they mean. Everything is just so… pretty. I’ve pushed this set to the top of my lingerie lust list, and I ever get the chance to try it on, I honestly may never take it off.

What do you think of today’s Lingerie of the Week and have you run across any lingerie that’s caught your eye lately? Tell me what’s new and exciting for you in the comments.

The bra and boyshort shown above retail for $175 at Journelle.

  1. That’s an absolutely beautiful set! I can’t say I’ve dealt with a lot of mesh before, but I look forward to the day the two of us shall meet ^.^

I love those bows, especially on the bra. They make the set look like an eternal gift-wrapped present.

Ah oui, Chere Treacle, suffering from Lingeritis Francaise is a very serious medical condition with no cure as yet. I hear that the only way to keep the patient’s symptoms under control is to let her buy some French lingerie at regular intervals :-D

I bought my first set in Paris exactly 6 years ago and I’ve been addicted ever since … The first bra which really captured my heart was Aubade’s Mathilde La Charmeuse in black lace matched with smooth print fabric in red and pink.

My present bra size (about 32DDD US) now limits me to a few brands. I usually wear Antigel and Eprise, they are both made by the French brand Lise Charmel. And of course, Simone Perele is always a good choice. Of course, this does not come cheap…

I used to get more lingerie with French lace, but now I’ve started to enjoy Antigel’s fun style in smooth fabrics. My latest purchase from them is Etendage de Charme bra and shorty. The background is white with a design which has a clothesline with nice lingerie on it – so real lingerie addict’s bra :-)

I just got this set–actually the other sheer version of this bra-on a recent trip to Paris. It is the most beautiful, comfortable set in my entire collection. The material is super soft and the design is SO gorgeous. Worth the price and definitely lustworthy!
