The site’s having huge problems – slow loading, timeouts, etc. I had 8 items in my bag, and when I went to check out, it prompted me to create an account, and once I did, my bag was empty. Now the items I wanted are sold out. So fail, unfortunately.
Yes it’s doing the same for me, and has for the past sales too. How frustrating.
Yup, the same thing just happened to me. Had 6 items in the bag, all gone by check out. A total waste of an hour. Though the shopping and dreaming was fun…bummer. They really should have a way of updating it on the site as you are shopping, so it doesn’t happen all the way at the end when you check out.
Oh well…I just assuaged my broken heart from the AP sale debacle by going onto another site and ordering some Addiction Nouvelle lingerie I’ve had my eye on for the last few weeks. Full price but maybe it took a bad luck sale experience to give myself “permission” to buy what I REALLY want! :)
It happened to me as well. But I found a way around it.
It’s because when you make an account, it assumes by default that you’re in the UK. If you set your address in your account to say that you’re in the US, then there’s lots more stuff that’s in stock! That is, if you ARE in the US and not the UK.
