Founder and Editor in Chief of The Lingerie Addict. I started TLA in a small studio apartment in 2008. Since then, it's become the leading lingerie blog in the world, and has been featured on the websites for Forbes, CNN, Time, Today, and Fox News. I believe lingerie is fashion too, and that every who wants it deserves gorgeous lingerie.

Mostly, I love discovering new brands, new pieces and new loves through your blog, Treacle. Secondly, lingerie guides – whether buying, caring for, etc. – are also great. I’m waiting for corset care part 2! I also appreciate the way you approach news and controversial topics. So basically, keep doing what you have been doing:)

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, Thursday, and thank you for all the other comments you’ve left lately as well!

We definitely want to keep the unique point of view that made you love us in the first place, so thanks for the honest feedback. :)

Love your site but I would really like it if you did something for someone like me the dreaded sizes. You see I am a 48 B and most sites just don’t go there. I am dying to get my hands on some really pretty and maybe even sexy lingerie and I know of a few others around my size who would love the info as well. Keep up all the good work

    CORSETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is all :P

Maybe interview more corsetieres? Perhaps have a feature on every corset lover’s favourite educator/reviewer Lucy of “Lucy’s Corsetry” on YouTube?

    • Cora Treacle says:

Hi Kath! Corsets are one of our most covered topics. We have over 100 posts on the subject here on the blog, with more on the way courtesy of our resident corsetry expert, Marianne. If we covered corsets anymore, I think we’d start looking a lot of like a corset blog instead of a lingerie blog! But I’ll definitely keep your suggestions in mind for future features.

      • KathTea says:

My thoughts is that compared to other undergarments, corsets are quite widely misunderstood and the amount of up-to-date literature and educational material on it are minimal, or at least, not as mainstream as other undergarments. Not to say that other undergarments are unimportant but I enjoy seeing more enlightening articles on corsetry on the internet :)

PS: Have you got an answer for our last e-mail yet?

Thank you so much for everything you’re doing with this blog, Treacle. I stumbled upon it yesterday and spent hours on it. Congrats on your engagement! I bought my first corset last night from Scarlett’s Corset and some matching pasties from Gothfox (I found out about them indirectly through Kiss Me Deadly–another company I had no idea about until yesterday). My days at Victoria’s Secret are numbered…a whole new world has been opened for me.

The only thing I would really love to learn about are places I can go to find lingerie and stockings that are nude or natural-looking against my skin. I’m hersey kiss brown, and pink, peach, and mocha just look silly on me. And I have no idea where to even look for stockings that match my skin tone. Thanks so much!

    • Cora Treacle says:

      Hi Lindsay,

Welcome! I’m glad you like the blog. :)

I’ll keep your request for nude lingerie in mind for a future feature. It’s something we’ve been getting a lot of requests, so look for an article on the topic later on this year.

try frangi pangi! they have a great assortment for all skin tones

I’ve been reading your blog for about a year now, and it has opened up a whole new world for me. In bringing new writers on to the blog you’ve been able to cover more of my area’s of interest such as larger cup sizes and designing lingerie. However there is one thing your blog has done for me that may or may not be unique it has encouraged me to start my own vintage inspired lingerie line. I love your articles with Cathrine for KMD and have done tons of my own research, but I think it would be great to have more posts for thoes who want to create not just consume.

    • Cora Treacle says:

I’ve been thinking along the same lines, MandaLea. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, and I’ll start brainstorming ways to feature more content for people in the lingerie business or who are interested in becoming part of the lingerie industry.

I’ve been reading your blog for a few weeks now, and I love it. I am going to add some selfish ideas, and some more general ones.

I am biased, but more full bust coverage!
    More full figured coverage!
**I realize these are not the same. I hover at the grey land between the 2. With a smaller band and a bigger butt!

And I always see great posts on either new brands or online shopping or etsy whatever. Then I few weeks down the line, I won’t be able to find the post. So I’d like more categories. How about handmade or custom, full bust, full figured, maybe basics? Slips? I am sure I can thing of more, but these are the top of mind ones. Oh and tags for the major brands?

    • Cora Treacle says:

      Hi Jame,

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! :)

We do work to make sure there are articles here for every size, and Holly, one of our regular writers and our full bust specialist, dedicates her monthly column to full busted and full figured coverage. However, we are not specifically a full busted or full figured blog, and so our articles tend to cover the entire size spectrum, from petite to plus size and A cup to H cup. That said, we can always be more inclusive, so I’ll look for more opportunities for full busted and full figured coverage in the future.

As far as categories, we have over 300 of those and several of the ones you mentioned (like custom, full bust, and full figured) are already present. Our most popular categories are at the bottom of the blog under “Category,” and you can always use the search bar to find specific topics or articles. We also create categories for the brands we talk about most frequently. Start here if you’re looking for a specific category:

Hope this helps and thanks again for sharing your thoughts,

I’ve never posted here before, even though I’ve been reading the blog for ages now so first off I want to say thanks and well done. Its really great.

The one thing I would love to see more of is places that do bras with large band sizes and small cup sizes. (I know, this seems to be the opposite problem to what ever other girl has with bras) I’m a uk 38A usually, though this is often more because lack of choice of sizes than because it fits me right. Depending on brand/shape of bra these are often too large in the cup or small in the back. Most of the stuff I’ve found online tends to either cost a bomb or just be incredibly plain/boring looking.

    • Cora Treacle says:

Thanks, Maey for leaving your comment! I’m glad you like what we’re doing. :)

We can definitely do more with large band/small cup sizes. I’ll start brainstorming ways to include more of that in the future.

  8. I always love to hear more from Karolina and people who make lingerie! I’m thinking of getting a lingerie design degree myself maybe…

Oh, and I would love to have reviews of shapewear because I find it really, really hard to judge online which is good and which is bad, especially for small busts.

Oh, and I’m basically your biggest fan.

  9. DND says:

Hi, I love your blog; it is super awesome and informative. I love how you have maintained your position on body hate so clearly (unlike some other blogs) and continue to do so both here and on FB.

I would like to see more posts about bras for petite busts; you have so many posts on fuller busts (which is perfectly normal as everyone should have access to useful information regarding lingerie, especially since cup sizes have increased so much in the last decades). However, more articles on small busts and the challenges that come with them in terms of lingerie would be really appreciated.

    Stockings. Stockings. STOCKINGS !!!!!

You don’t have to wright anything if you find it a thin subject, just post thousands of beautiful, aesthetic pictures of lovely stockings! Theme? All of ’em! Marie Antoinette, Burlesque, Clean black ones etc. And as I LOVE natural stockings with contrasts, it would be nice if you posted different kinds of nude colours with contrast seams and garters.

    Love from Sweden!

    • Cora Treacle says:

      Hi Matilda,

We just wrote an article on stockings for National Stockings Day. Did you see it? :-)

And we used to be a stockings blog so there are tons of stockings reviews in the archives, especially in the first year or two.

Unfortunately, we’re not a picture blog, so we won’t be posting ‘thousands of pictures’ of stockings anytime soon, but I’m sure there are other sites which would be a good fit for that particular desire.

      Thanks for commenting,

    Hi Treacle,

Thank you so much for all that you do!! The past year has been a revelation for me; finding out that there is lingerie that fits my body (I am a small band, large bust) has led to quite the addiction!

What I don’t see on the blogs I follow is reviews of the panties. Specifically, I love to buy matching bra/panty sets and while there are plenty of places to go to find out how the bra fits compared to other brands, there is a dearth of matching information for the panties.

  12. Elegy says:

Ah! I posted this on another blog, but this is far more recent so I’ll mention it here as well:

I’d love to see another special on a variety of robes, nightgowns, and slips much like the 2009 version. I love these pieces and finding the perfect one is rare.
