  • HerRoom creates a universal bra sizing chart. The new chart groups the sizes from 150 different bra brands into 1 letter and 1 number (for example: D1, D2, D3, etc.). Tomima Edmark, founder of HerRoom, says the move to a single sizing chart is meant to help women who don’t know that bra sizing is inconsistent across brands, and who therefore feel like their range of sizes and choices is limited. What do you think of the universal bra guide?
  • Vixen Vintage, my favorite vintage style blogger, has written a guide all about how to wear petticoats. I love petticoats, and I’m actually thinking of buying one this summer for a few of my fit and flare dresses. This guide tells you how to pick the perfect petticoat size for your dresses and skirts, and how to wash, care for, and store them. A must read!
  • Toad Lillie has written a how to make pasties guide. Pasties were among the first items Toad Lillie produced, and though the brand now carries a full line of lingerie, these ornate fabric and crystal pasties are still among their most popular items. If you’re the crafty sort and looking for a weekend project, this is a great idea.
  • A Slip of a Girl has a warning for vintage lingerie buyers – beware of people who add modern day lace to a vintage slip and don’t disclose it. As Slip says, there’s no problem with dying, recycling, upcycling, and other additions, but good business ethics demand they be disclosed in full.
