2012 marks the return of Ask the Addict. Ask the Addict is real questions from real readers just like you. Want to submit a question? You can ask me via e-mail, or send me a message on Facebook, Twitter, or Tumblr.
Today’s question comes from Tumblr reader franklymister who asks, “I have a small size of 30A, and find it very hard to find affordable lingerie that fits. Any recommendations?”
Definitely! Lula Lu Petites and The Little Bra Company specialize in bras for small busts. I’m especially a fan of Lulu Lu’s petite demi cup bra and TLBC’s Lucia push up bra.
Brands like Huit, and Affinitas Intimates also make bras on 30A, and you can purchase those from Figleaves and HerRoom, respectively. Huit’s ‘Mrs. Wang’ wireless bra (pictured) is beautifully simple, and I’ve been a fan of Affinitas Intimates’ ‘Samantha’ push up bra since I first saw it.
I hope this helps!

Change lingerie also carries smaller sizes, I’ve seen sizes down to 28A available.
I’d not heard of that brand before. Thanks for sharing!
Marks & Spencer’s Limited Collection line comes in 30A, and they usually run small in the band with relatively shallow cups. I’m hesitant to recommend them to someone shopping online (esp. internationally) as the fit can be inconsistent, but the quality is good and they can be found on eBay UK for very little.
Mimi Holliday by Damaris (from 28AA) is a bit more expensive, but I’ve heard good things about the fit and their bras are gorgeous. It might also be worth trying a 32A from Elle Macpherson Intimates, as they tend to run small in the band and cup.
You might want to look at vintage bras. Many of them came in smaller sizes. I have a vintage lingerie shop and I regularly carry size 32 A which would fit a modern 30 A and many are new old stock and come in a variety of shapes.
We at Made by Noemi make bras for just these kind of sizes mainly. Have a look!
Best,
Anna
