The Lingerie Addict Shares Her Secrets

I’ve always been honored by how much my readers share with me, and today I’d like to return the favor.

Many of you may picture me lounging around in silk robes with my laptop, but that isn’t the way my life is. While I aspire to be some kind of work at home glamazon, the past few years have been anything but.

For the last seven years, I’ve worked as a crisis counselor. For the past three years, I’ve worked with abused children, homeless women, and family members of homicide victims. I went to work every day and spent time with heartbroken families who didn’t know how to cope with their lives. It was hard. I did the work of five people. Some days it sucked, and some days I wanted to give up.

I went home, and I talked about lingerie with all of you. I got up early to talk about silk and satin knickers, and stayed up late to compare lace teddies. Then I woke up the next morning, went to my dayjob and did it all over again. All the work that has gone into this blog has occurred in the early morning, in the late evenings, and on weekends.

A while back I began taking consulting clients, and I loved it. I made early morning appointments and worked late into the night, all while keeping my regular work. Eventually, I reached the point where I had to turn down clients because of my day job.

I’m not doing that anymore.

As of this month, I have quit my job and become a full-time Lingerie Addict! I’m jumping into the vast sea of self-employment, and I couldn’t be happier.

So what does this mean for you, my amazing readers?

To start, I’m launching a full line of social media and Internet-based services. I can do everything from corporate training sessions to providing one hour branding consultations. If you’d like to see more, you can find full package descriptions and more information right here. If you’ve got any questions, please email me at and we can find a package that is perfect for you.

Rest assured that nothing else will change around here.

I’m thrilled to be able to provide you with even more great content than I used to be able to. I’m always going to write from an unbiased and independent perspective that supports women of any shape and size. After all, lingerie is for everyone!

I truly don’t have the words to express how grateful I am for each and every one of you. Without your love and support, I wouldn’t be where I am. It isn’t just about numbers. My readers have given me confidence to embrace who I am and run with it, even on the days where I felt like nothing could possibly go right. It’s been an honor and a pleasure getting to know all of you, and I can’t wait to meet more of you in the future.

Are there any services you would like to see The Lingerie Addict provide? I’d love it if you left a comment about my new venture. I read every single one of them.
