Look for Less: Wolford "Knee-High" Tights

Wolford is probably one of my favorite brands to write “Look for Less” features about. Their hosiery has a worldwide reputation for excellence, and rightly so. Not only are their patterns innovative, Wolford simply feels wonderful on your legs. I’m trying to think of a way to describe the sensation, and the best I can come up with is that it’s like someone gently stroking your legs all day long. Seriously.

That said, as much as I love Wolford, they’re more than a little pricey and unless one of the seasonal designs simply drives me mad with longing, I usually get my nylon fix elsewhere. Like ASOS, for example.

A few seasons ago, Wolford featured a gorgeous, faux knee-high sock design in the Zora tights. I didn’t pick up a pair, but I do remember thinking about how nice they’d look with a corduroy mini over the winter. Well, now we all have our chance. ASOS just came out with a near identical design their calling the “lace up detail” tights. I’ve looked at their photo and Wolford’s photo pretty closely, but I’m not seeing much difference.

What do you think of the tights? Must-have or meh? Share your thoughts with me in the comments!
