Q: Love your site! I saw these lace leggings on model Natalia – and fell in love. I think they are Gianfranco Ferre but not certain – can you determine who they are or find a very good copy with such sinewy fine detail?
A: Thanks so much for writing! Natalia Vodianova’s leggings aren’t leggings at all, but are actually a stirrup bodystocking she designed for European lingerie retailer, Etam.
I wasn’t able to find another lace stirrup bodysuit, but American Apparel does carry lace stirrup leggings which may be an acceptable substitute, especially for folks on this side of the pond. Hope this helps!

Ah Treacle, it's really nice to see this post, because I LOVE Etam!! Well, not their entire collection maybe, but since they tend to carry different styled mini-collection within each new collection I believe each girl can find something for herself :) I've recently purchased their Nightlife body in black and I am so in love. Haven't had a chance to wear it yet though, as it obviosuly too cold for something like that here… Oh, and regarding Natalia's piece of body lace… It looks kind of cool, but I have no idea how this thing can actually be wearable :S So unconvinient if you ned to use the bathroom….
I love the look of lace leggings but just know I'd trash them in seconds!
