I wear a lot of lingerie, and I don’t always have the time to give every single bra, panty, or pair of stockings a long and detailed review. So I’m going to try something just a little bit different…the mini-review. Hopefully, this will turn into a regular feature where I talk about several different items in the same space I’d normally discuss one. The mini-reviews won’t replace the more thorough discussions; they’ll just supplement them. As always, if you’d like to know more about a particular garment, just get in touch with me and I’ll be overjoyed to give you more details.
I purchased the S.P.A.N.K. Flirt soft bra and brief set at the height of my “buy it because it’s expensive phase.” Made of 100% silk chiffon, the entire set retails for $72.52 USD using the current exchange rate.
After wearing (and washing) this lingerie several times, I have to say I’m less than impressed. While it looks cute on, my major issue is that the silk and elastic do not hold up well to even the most delicate of hand launderings. Both the bra and the panty look a bit “chewed up” now which discourages me buying anything from this label in the future.
The Twin Syndrome High Rise Panties are one of those random Etsy finds I immediately fell in love with . They’re fun, funky, and at only $20.00 a pair affordable on even a modest budget.
These panties quickly became one of my favorite lingerie wardrobe pieces. They not only work independently as a costume piece, but also function well when you need more coverage or extra layering under certain clothing.
My biggest qualm is how unwieldy they can become in the ladies room, but that’s true of almost everything I own. ;-)
Finally (and I’ve saved the best for last), I want to talk about the Cervin Swing Time Stockings. Like the Falke Peacock Pantyhose, these were also one of my first lust items. I’m horrid at resisting temptation so it wasn’t long before I bought these.
Let me tell you, these stockings are worth every single penny. They fit like skin, feel like silk, and look like sex. My favorite part is how they seem like regular (albeit nice) nylons from the front, and then you have the gorgeous surprise of that sinfully fancy heel at the back. Highly recommended.
