Ahhh good choice. I love the bicolors. I have both colors that you are displaying. I find the yellow and off black to be more appealing but both are great. Of course RHTs are more versatile but i like a little bit of spunk.

i have been loving the Cervin stockings too – we have their catalog at my shop and are considering bringing in the brand for Fall. I LOVE the bi-color stockings too.

I’ve been looking at those, too! Too many choices and I’m overwhelmed.

Thanks for stopping by, Mademoiselle Frou-Frou! I hope you got the coupon code I left in one your recent posts, and that your blog visitors find it useful. :-)

I agree, T. Though as “nude” shades don’t really work for me, I’m likely sticking to black or grey tones.

    To Anonymous,

I haven’t seen cervins in the US. However, if you like the pink with black seam version, Agent Provocateur makes stockings that seem exactly the same look wise though i have never tried them myself. If there is an AP store by you, I would check out their stocking selection.

All in all the shipping can be counteracted if you order with friends or simply order a bigger shipment during sales.

    To Anonymous:

I don’t know of any American retailers who sell Cervins off-hand.

However, the UK retailer StockingsHQ carries quite a bit of stock from them and will ship to the U.S. at quite reasonable prices.

The AP stockings look identical because they are, in fact, made by Cervin. Cervin do a ton of manufacturing for other luxury brands so you’ll see their styles and techniques popping up all over the place.

This store dropped a link at my blog the other day and it looks like they carry an extensive range of Cervin at reasonable prices (similar to SHQ) I'm not sure what the shipping cost are, but the selection is excellent. http://www.cervin-paris.com/index.asp?cur=840&lng=us

From the sites I saw, it seems like StockingsHQ is the overall cheapest even with the exchange rate and shipping costs.

Also, StockingsHQ has great customer service and an impeccable reputation which is so important when you’re ordering from anywhere, but especially from overseas.

Yeah, “nude”. I wish stocking companies would rename that color to something else.

“Beige” is an OK term, but not much fun.
