Etsy just might be the best kept secret for vintage lingerie on the internet. While e-bay is the go-to place for people cleaning out their closets (or their neighbor’s closets, in the case of estate sales), very few people seem to frequent Etsy’s vintage section. On the one hand, it’s sad, because you find spectacular deals there. On the other hand, it’s awesome, because you find spectacular deals there. ;-)
Here’s a sample of this week’s offerings…
Check out this sultry bra and panty set. The bra is size 34A and the panty has 24″ waist. This would look great on one of you petite ladies (or gentlemen!) out there. Plus, it’s only $25.00.
If you’re not really looking for another lingerie set (and considering all the crazy sales going on right now, I wouldn’t be surprised) then why not go for a slip? I really don’t talk about slips enough here. Not only are they great for layering under clothes, they also work as gorgeously feminine nightgowns. If you’re feeling especially adventurous, they can even be worn as dresses, particularly during the hot summer months.
Vanity Fair never disappoints, and they’re the manufacturer responsible for this chocolate brown beauty. Measurements are 40-42-48″ and the length is 35″. I have to say, $38.00 doesn’t seem like too much to spend on something this nice.
Last, but most definitely not least, are these $6.00 (!!!) vintage nylons from Vassarette. Never worn and still in the original box, they are 30″ from top to heel and the foot measures 11″. The seller also has a 9″ (foot measurement) pair available in a gorgeous shade of cafe au lait selling for only $6.00 as well.
