Maybe people are just trying to make a quick buck after the grueling holiday season, but there’s definitely some good stuff for sale over on my favorite hunting grounds.
For starters, there’s this vintage, 1960′s black cotton bullet bra. Simple, classic design, and, according to the seller, never worn and still in it’s original packaging. The auction ends today, and, as I type this, the highest bid is only $12.00. If you need (or just want) a bullet bra, you might want to bid on it. Oddly enough, I can’t copy the picture, so you’ll have to go to the auction to see.
Next up is a leopard print vintage bra and slip set from Vanity Fair. If you’ve been reading this blog for any length of time you know that a) I love leopard print and b) I really love leopard print from Vanity Fair. The bra is size 36b. The slip is size medium. The auction starts at $34.99, and both pieces appear to be in excellent condition. I’ll be keeping an eye on this one myself.
The last item I’m posting is from Agent Provocateur. On the best of days, I can barely manage to feel more than ambivalent about Agent Provocateur. They have interesting designs, don’t get me wrong, but I can never justify the price…or the quality. However, I do know a good deal when I see one, and an auction for the Maschina nude body (the barbed wire bodysuit…you may have seen it in Rihanna’s “Disturbia” video) is bound to be a good deal. The body is a size medium, and current bids are at 21 pounds (approximately $30.80 USD).
